These easy 2 ingredient dough calzones are so easy to make and worth all the hype! I mean, who doesn’t love pizza dough filled with marinara sauce, cheese, and a variety of toppings? What makes them even better is that the dough is made using just self rising flour and Greek yogurt! That’s it!
Before you get started making your 2 ingredient dough, preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. The 2 ingredient dough, which you can find here, comes together in just a few minutes. The dough will be sticky, so make sure you flour your surface and the dough as you roll it out.
After your portion of dough is rolled out, you can fill it with just about anything! We’ve made cheese, pepperoni, veggie, and even breakfast 2 ingredient dough calzones! They are so easy to make and the possibilities are endless. Place your marinara sauce, cheese, and toppings on one half of the rolled out dough.
Next, fold the dough half without toppings over the toppings.
To seal the dough together, use a fork and press down along the edge.
Gently move the 2 ingredient dough calzone to a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. You can brush the top of your calzone with a little egg wash or olive oil, but they’re also fine as is!
Place the calzones in a 425 degree preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes until the calzones are golden brown. Allow the calzones to cool for a few minutes before serving as the inside will be quite hot!
