This was a good week, though I didn’t lose any weight on Weight Watchers. I was happy to see my weight essentially stay the same (gained 0.2 pounds), given that I didn’t have a traditional schedule, wasn’t overly prepared for the work week food wise, ate out quite a few times (office lunches, celebratory dinner for my sister, and goodbye breakfast for my mom), and was a total slacker with my tracking.
I didn’t feel out of control by any means and tried to stay focused throughout the week, I just didn’t have a traditional week. After 3 weeks of craziness, I am excited to settle in for the fall semester and for the weeks to be a little more quiet (fingers crossed).
This week kicked off with an amazing date night with Neal Friday night. We ate at the baseball park and I enjoyed a few beers. Saturday morning we had breakfast at Ted’s Bulletin and then I ate at home the rest of the weekend. I made that awesome Mexican Cornbread Casserole and enjoyed it as leftovers both Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday I grabbed lunch with a co-worker in the dining hall and I enjoyed a killer dinner at Bonefish Grill with Neal, Magnolia, and Alison that night. Yesterday was pretty hectic, so I had breakfast on the go, a really late lunch, and then dinner when I got home from work at 7:45PM.
I stunk with tracking this week. I didn’t make it a priority and that’s on me. I’m back to tracking today after a week of off and on.
My workouts this week were awesome. We haven’t been going for long walks after work, mainly because of my work schedule, but also because of the evening thunderstorms and the crazy disgusting heat. It’s supposed to be much cooler next week, so I’m planning for a few long walks with Neal, Magnolia, and Theodore.
I went to OrangeTheory Friday and Monday and walked a TON on Wednesday. My Fitbit has been out of commission (wasn’t holding a charge so they replaced it), but it’s back up and running and I’m back to logging my steps.
All in all, I’m proud of this week. I’d like to continue moving forward with my weight loss but I’m ok with the pause this week. My goal this next week is to get a good workout in this weekend, to go for some longer walks after work, and to track everything I eat each day. I’d LOVE to get below 240 next week, which would mean a big loss. Let’s see what I can do!
