Today’s blog post is sponsored by Pure Protein. All thoughts, experiences, and opinions are my own.
A few months ago, I was introduced to the new Pure Protein Crunch. I have long been a Pure Protein product lover, but admit that I didn’t know what to expect from these new crunchy protein bites. I first tried the Double Chocolate Crunch and they were awesome! Later that week I tried the Pure Protein Crunch Peanut Butter flavor and let me tell y’all, there was no turning back! I was obsessed.
These little bites are crunchy on the inside and then are coated in a perfectly sweet shell in either chocolate or peanut butter. To me, they remind me of malted milk balls and they have made a great snack, both at home, in the office, and while on the go. Pure Protein Crunch also has 10g of protein per serving/pouch, which provides me the energy I need in a snack, while also satisfying my sweet tooth.
I first took the new Pure Protein Crunch pouches with me on my business trip to Dallas. They were awesome on the plane and kept me from reaching for the snacks offered by the airline. I also brought them, and the Pure Protein bars, into my conference sessions, which fueled me during the long meetings.
I’ve enjoyed bringing the Pure Protein Crunch bites to work and eating a pouch as I head out the door to pick up my daughter from daycare. I even snuck them into the movies last week (shhh! Don’t tell anyone).
What I love most about these new snacks is that you can eat them as is or you can add them to other foods in order to make more filling and creative snack.
I love adding either of the flavors to a yogurt cup. Pure Protein Crunch adds just that, an awesome crunch to the snack, and you can come up with some pretty delicious combinations. My favorites include salted caramel yogurt and Pure Protein Double Chocolate Crunch or strawberry yogurt and Pure Protein Peanut Butter Crunch.
Recently, as I’ve been looking for ways to enjoy an iced cold treat at the end of the day without going overboard, I’ve started making frozen banana “ice cream” and have topped it with either of the Pure Protein Crunch flavors. Both are fantastic!
Banana “Ice Cream” Topped with Pure Protein Crunch
-2 large sliced frozen bananas
-1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or cashew milk
-1 TBSP nut butter or peanut butter powder
-pinch of salt
-splash of vanilla
Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender. Blend/puree on a high speed, stopping occasionally to stir and wipe down the side of the container. You want the “ice cream” to be a thick consistency, but you can add more almond or cashew milk if your “ice cream” is too thick. Once blended, add to a bowl and top with your favorite Pure Protein Crunch flavor.
I couldn’t wait to share this new product find with y’all! The new Pure Protein Crunch makes a perfect snack and I won’t deny eating them as a dessert too. For those who need crunch and something sweet, they’re perfect. You can find the new Pure Protein Crunch at a number of stores, but I have personally seen them at Walmart and Safeway.
