Hellllllo December! November was a hectic, wild, and perfect month. I was sick with a cold and strep throat most of the month, but in-between we managed to buy our first house, run 3 races, and celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. It was a really amazing month!
I’m really looking forward to December. We have a lot of things on our calendar, but it’s definitely a celebratory month. We’re moving into our new home, celebrating the holidays, and preparing for 2016. Here’s a look at November and our plans and goals for December.
In November I…
Kicked off my Healthy Holidays Challenge
Ran the Great Pumpkin Run with my friend Amy
Walked the Run Under The Lights
Ran the 5 mile Alexandria Turkey Trot without walking
November Goals Revisited…
Clean out our guest bedroom closet — Yes! It’s currently spread across our guest room, but I cleaned it out.
Clean out and organize the kitchen and pantry – I haven’t really tackled this yet. I think it’s going to be a weekend project.
Decorate for Thanksgiving – I put out a few things, but after our Thanksgiving plans changed I decided not to decorate.
Workout at Orange Theory twice a week – I couldn’t workout when I was sick, but I got some awesome Orange Theory workouts in last month.
Enjoy my 3 races (5K, 5K, and 5 miler) – They were all awesome!
Find a Christmas tree farm to visit the last weekend of November – Sadly no.
Order and mail holiday cards – Yes!!!
Do the bulk of our Christmas shopping (in store and online) – Who was I kidding? I still have a ton to do.
Begin reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up – I loved this book and hated it all at the same time. It was really overwhelming and I haven’t really wrapped my head around what I need to do in order to tidy up. I’m working on a full review now.
Blow-dry my hair every time I wash it – Yeah… I still let it air dry.
