Between moving and holiday parties, I haven’t had the finest of weeks lately. Prior to my move I was feeling light and incredibly healthy. Now I feel bloated and bogged down. Sure the holidays are always a stuggle, but I feel like this has been my toughest holiday season yet. I feel like every day at work there is a different party, treat, or splurge…. and I haven’t turned much down. I’ve been eating lots of sweets and I really need to get back on track.
I’ve also been thinking lots about Becky’s review of Mindless Eating. I’ve been thinking of small ways to cut out calories without tracking or being on a diet. Eating 1 egg instead of 2. Having a burger without the bun. Cutting out cheese…. I’ve been thinking a lot about the little ways I could change and the results I could see as a result.
Yesterday wasn’t perfect by any means, but it was a good day! I got up early, tried out a new Orangetheory location, gone a ton done at work, enjoyed at night at home with my family, and went to bed early.
