Last week was a really freeing week. It felt so good to get back on the wagon after being sick and to enjoy Thanksgiving without guilt! Losing 2 pounds didn’t hurt either. I was one happy momma!
This week I want to focus on what I’m eating. Between work, packing up the house for our move, getting over being sick, and the holidays, I just haven’t done the best job of planning out meals and cooking. I feel like I’ve been scrambling to think up meals, when I’m already hungry, and could stand to put a bit more effort into everything.
My workouts have been really great but I want to make sure that I’m eating healthy foods and not eating more than I need. This week I want to make sure I eat breakfast before leaving for work, pack filling lunches for the work day, and to make healthy dinners for my family. I’ve definitely been slacking in the housewife department!
Holiday treats are also starting to creep into all areas of my life, so I want to make sure that I’m staying on track and not eating too many treats. A treat here or there is fine, but I want to make sure I’m focused on my goals. Anyone else struggling with holiday goodies?
