This morning I woke up early, got an awesome workout in at Orange Theory, got ready for work, and am now ready to tackle the work day before picking my mom up from the airport. I can’t wait to see her tonight and to spend a few days with her. My mom always made my birthday and Halloween so special, so I love that she makes a point to come to DC for Halloween each year. It’s a beautiful time of year here in DC (well, not today) and we have so much fun celebrating Halloween together, especially now that we’re celebrating with Magnolia.
Neal and I have a date night planned for tomorrow night, Friday night we’re going out for burgers as a family, Saturday we’re watching the Hawkeye game, celebrating Halloween, and watching the World Series, and then Sunday we’re heading down to Georgetown to cheer Neal on as he runs the Fall Georgetown 10-Miler before taking my mom to the airport. It should be a really fun weekend!!
The week has been pretty good so far. Monday, which I’m sharing below for this What I Ate Wednesday, was a great start to the work week. I was really happy with my meals, got a great workout in, and went to bed at a reasonable time. Yesterday was exhausting, so I was essentially a lazy bum last night. I played with Magnolia, facetimed with my brother, watched a little baseball, and then went to bed.
Here’s to an awesome Wednesday!
