I love the month of October. Whether it’s celebrating my birthday, watching the leaves change color, going trick or treating, or lighting pumpkin candles, it is usually one of the most joyous months of the year for me.
September was a good month. It went by really quickly, but was full of lots of love and celebration. Magnolia turned 1, my family was in town, the academic year started, and I ended my scaleless summer, it was a really awesome month.
I’m really looking forward to the next 30 days and have set a few goals for the month.

September Goals Revisited…
Start selling things online (ebay, craigslist, etc) – Sadly no.
Switch out my summer and fall closets – I still haven’t done this, but I’m hoping this weekend.
Donate clothes I no longer wear – Yes!
Set up our fall decorations – Yes. I only set out a few, but yes.
Find a new child development book to read – Yes. I’ve loved this book.
Buy Magnolia her first pair of shoes – Yes!! We bought her two and she’s too darn cute!
Share my fall running plan – I haven’t been consistent, but yes.
Try out a few new fitness studios – Yes! I ended up signing up for an Orange Theory membership.
Sign up for fall and winter races – Yes!! I can’t wait to run all the races we’ve signed up for.
Schedule my annual physical – I really need to find a new local doctor. I didn’t make time for this, but I will.
Complete another juice cleanse – I guess I “completed” the juice cleanse. I tried out Jrink and really hated it. My friends think I’m crazy, but man, I really did not like their juices or mylks.
Get a pedicure – I didn’t. I hope to get one some time this month.
Leave work at work – This definitely didn’t happen. September is just a really busy month.
Make the most of our weekends – We really enjoyed our weekend in September. Most were jam packed, but we had a great time.
