I had an absolutely amazing weekend! I kicked it off by celebrating my 31st birthday on Friday and then enjoyed a weekend with family and friends.
Friday morning I woke up and headed over to Orange Theory for the 5AM class. I haven’t gotten to know too many people there, but the manager was so sweet and put up this birthday sign on the glass for me. It was such a sweet gesture.
After class I headed over to Starbucks for my birthday drink. The free drink coupon now expires the day after your birthday, so I decided to use it that morning. I ordered a soy chai and then headed home to get ready for work.
I had a wonderful morning at work, meeting with students until leaving at 1PM. My staff bought me this most adorable mug, as well as a few cupcakes from Buzz Bakery. I couldn’t have asked for a better morning! I work with some really amazing people.
Saturday morning I woke up bright and early, played with Magnolia, and then headed over to Virginia. I dropped Theodore off at the groomer, enjoyed breakfast at SouthBlock, and then headed over to Vichelle’s to get my hair done. Shelby worked her magic, once again! I loveeeeee my hair.
After picking up Theodore and heading back home, I took an afternoon nap while Magnolia napped. Around 5PM my friend Becky came over and we went for a long walk before making dinner together (“fried” pork brown rice and sauteed broccoli) and watching Spy.
Magnolia’s 1 year photos were at 5PM, so it was nice getting my nails done beforehand. It was really chilly when we arrived at the farm and we had a freak rain storm during the photos, but we had a lot of fun. I’m really excited to see the photos. It’s hard to believe Magnolia is already 13 months old!
