I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a happy Mother’s Day!
Neal, Magnolia, and I have been fighting colds this weekend, but we made the most of the beautiful weather. Saturday after my spin class we headed down to the National Zoo.
Once home we ate breakfast, cleaned up the house, and watched the Nats game. Magnolia and I took a cat nap together, which I LOVED, and then we headed out for a walk with Neal and Theodore. When did she get so big??
Around 5PM Neal and I enjoyed some cheese and crackers while I cooked dinner and started preparing meals for the work week. I roasted veggies, made egg muffins (recipe coming tomorrow), and I cooked a pork tenderloin. Easy peasy.
After putting Magnolia to bed Neal and I watched the Caps game and then headed to bed. It was a wonderful weekend and a perfect Mother’s Day! I’m so grateful to have Magnolia in my life and to be her mother. She’s my world!
