I am so excited it’s March! I honestly didn’t even realized yesterday was the first day of March, so when I saw the date on my iPhone I was pumped. February was a really hectic month and one I’m grateful to move on from. I accomplished a lot of great things last month, personally and professionally, but I’m excited for a new month.
March is one of my favorite months of the year! I love the transition to spring, changing our clocks, watching the flowers bloom, and of course, March Madness! Although the weather can be all over the place, I just love knowing that warmer days are around the corner.

February Goals Revisited…
Organize my bins of clothes in the basement – I started this project and didn’t finish. I should probably get on that!
Take clothes we don’t wear to a consignment shop – Yes! Made $122 to put in Magnolia’s savings account.
Put away winter decorations – Finally!
Reorganize/reconfigure the living room and Magnolia’s play area – Yes! We’re getting somewhere.
Move 2 bookshelves to the basement – Yes! Thanks to Neal.
Look into buying a new media cabinet – Found one I love, but haven’t bit the bullet.
Follow the Simply Filling Plan for #SimplyFillingFebruary – For the most part, yes. I derailed when Neal’s parents were in town and didn’t go back to Simply Filling afterwards.
Lift weights 3 days a week – Yes!!!! I have been working with my personal trainer virtually and it has been awesome!
Take spin twice a week – Yes! Two Sunday classes were cancelled because of snow, but otherwise I attended both my Saturday and Sunday classes.
Though I’m hesitant to put a number goal on my weight loss, I’d love to lose 6lbs this month – I shouldn’t have put a number on it, but I did well this month!
Sign up for spin certification – Sadly no. There aren’t any local these next few months so I’m working to figure out an alternative.
Get my hair cut and possibly colored – I got my hair cut but not colored.
Finish reading It Was Me All Along – Sadly no. I spend too much time on my phone.
Plan a fun date for Neal and me, even if it’s just at home – Yes! We’ve had some great date nights.
Coming Up In March…
Thankfully we don’t have a jam packed month ahead of us. Sure we have plenty to do on weekends, but technically we don’t have anything big scheduled. I’m looking forward to weekends spent watching basketball, going on long walks (and runs), and creating lists of spring and summer to-dos. Magnolia turns 6 months this month, which is really special! I can’t believe she’s been with us for half a year already! Time sure does fly.
