February 2015 Goals

Creating monthly goals is just about one of my favorite things! I love the possibilities a new month brings and I always appreciate a new start. January was a great start to 2015 and I’m excited to build upon it.

February is a really busy month for me each year, but I know it can be great if I manage my time, get great sleep, and make the most of the weekends. Sounds a lot like most months, but those goals are especially important in February.

February Goals

In January I…

Created goals for the new year

Shared our favorite baby gear for 0-3 months

Published a free printable – Out of the House Checklist

Gave y’all a tour of Magnolia’s nursery

Reflected on being 4 months postpartum

Talked about the business side of blogging

Shared my tactic for getting everything off my mind and onto paper

January Goals Revisited…

Organize Magnolia’s clothes, books, and toys – I was able to organize Magnolia’s clothes, but I haven’t figured out her books and toys yet.

Create a weekly chore chart – Yes!

Keep up with said chore chart – I just created the chart so hopefully it helps us moving into February

Have Neal put away the patio furniture – Thanks babe!

Begin my weight lifting routine – Yes!  I started lifting weights at the beginning of the month and just began a new program last week

Workout at least 4 times a week (cardio and/or weight lifting) – Yes! I really enjoyed my workouts in January

Track every single thing I eat, before I eat it – Preparing all of my meals on Sunday has helped a lot!

Switch WW meetings – Yes! I switched to Saturdays, which didn’t work out, so now I’m attending WW at Work meetings

Meal prep on Sundays – Yes! And I’m really enjoying it!

Pack my bags for work the night before – Yes!

Have Magnolia’s daycare bags packed the night before – Yes!

Go to bed by 10PM each night – Yes!

Recharge on weekends – Ehh… I still haven’t figured this one out.  I feel like I have so much to accomplish on weekends and it makes relaxing and recharging difficult.

Coming Up In February…

Getting my hair cut and possibly colored by Shelby Anderson

Spending quality time with Neal’s parents while they’re in town

Celebrating Valentine’s Day with Neal and Magnolia (also celebrating Magnolia turning 5 months)

Getting the windows replaced in our rental (AMEN!!! These electricity bills are craaaazy)

February Goals

Around the House

Organize my bins of clothes in the basement

Take clothes we don’t wear to a consignment shop

Put away winter decorations

Reorganize/reconfigure the living room and Magnolia’s play area

Move 2 bookshelves to the basement

Look into buying a new media cabinet

Health and Fitness

Follow the Simply Filling Plan for #SimplyFillingFebruary

Lift weights 3 days a week

Take spin twice a week

Though I’m hesitant to put a number goal on my weight loss, I’d love to lose 6lbs this month

Self Care

Sign up for spin certification

Get my hair cut and possibly colored

Finish reading It Was Me All Along

Plan a fun date for Neal and me, even if it’s just at home

What’s one goal you have for the month of February?
