I was never much of a desserts person, but man, am I a changed woman. I think I have my husband’s sweet tooth to blame, but boy do I love a good bowl of ice cream or a sweet treat these days. Tubs of ice cream are a weakness for me, as I rarely eat the 1/2 cup serving recommended. My bowl quickly turns into 3 servings, so in an effort to nip that in the bud, I’ve stopped buying tubs of ice cream. Instead, I’m trying to find new ways to create healthier desserts.
This weekend, after receiving a sample of Arctic Zero’s new Salted Caramel frozen dessert, a light bulb went off in my head. What if I put a slice of the Arctic Zero between two Fiber One cookies? **FIREWORKS**
The EASIEST way to make an ice cream sandwich, in my opinion, is with a pint of ice cream. Simply run a knife under hot water for a few seconds and then slice right through the container of ice cream in order to create a slice of ice cream.
Next, remove the carton from the slice of frozen dessert and sandwich the Arctic Zero between the two cookies. You can either freeze the sandwich or just eat it right away.
These quick, easy, and healthy ice cream sandwiches using Arctic Zero and Fiber One cookies are just 270 calories or 7PP on Weight Watchers. They are delicious and incredibly easy to make! Enjoy!
This blog post is not sponsored by Arctic Zero or Fiber One. I was given the Arctic Zero to taste test. All opinions are my own.
