As I move into 2015, one of my goals is to be more prepared and to limit situations in which I have to scramble to make healthy decisions. I often find myself in situations where I wish I had something healthy to eat and thus am forced to figure out what to eat. What ends up happening is I either eat what’s around me, which isn’t always healthy, or I end up eating too much when I’m finally able to eat.
Special K has 4 new chewy snack bars coming out this January and it made me think of all the situations in which it’d be helpful to have a snack bar on hand.
The new Special K chewy snack bars are really tasty and I love how flavor packed they are for just 100 calories. My favorite of the 4 flavors are definitely the salted caramel chocolate bar and the salted pretzel chocolate bar. I love the salty and sweet combo. It satisfies my sweet tooth, fills me with wholesome ingredients, and tie me over until my next meal.
This next year I really want to work on mindless eating. I want to be more organized, to know what my options are, and to be mentally in tune with what I’m eating.
What’s one situation in which you could stand to have a snack bar on hand?
