A few weeks ago I made this incredibly simple Crock-pot No-Bean Chili and have been dying to share it with y’all!Simple is my favorite word these days. I treasure all things simple. Simple days, simple schedules, simple meals, simple recipes, simple workouts, and simple plans. Keeping things simple has helped me to reduce stress and to enjoy more of the world around me.
Ingredients
1 onion, diced
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 tbsp olive oil
2 lbs. lean ground beef or ground turkey
3 carrots, finely diced
2 celery stalks, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 jalapeno, minced
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp dried oregano
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp pepper
1 28-ounce can of crushed tomatoes
1 14-ounce can of diced tomatoes in sauce
1 15-ounce can of tomato sauce
Instructions
1. In a large pan, saute onions and garlic in olive oil over medium heat
2. Add ground beef to the pan, cooking until brown
3. Transfer the cooked meat to your Crockpot
4. Add remaining ingredients and seasonings to the Crockpot
5. Stir all of the ingredients together and place lid on the Crockpot
6. Cook the chili on low for 6 hours
7. Stir the chili and serve hot! Top your chili with avocado, sour cream, and/or cheese
8. Enjoy!
