The past two weeks have been really great! I’ve gotten back into a healthier routine and am really feeling the effects of it! The key for me has been getting back into a routine with my eats and my workouts, which has taken me 26 weeks to reach! My eats are just a lot more stable and for the first time in my pregnancy, I really feel like myself pre-pregnancy! I’ve also returned to a spin studio I love and am shooting to take at least 2 spin classes a week.
A big part of me feeling great has also been my ability to balance my healthy eats with treats. As I’ve shared, I’ve been craving carbs like whoa these past few weeks, so it has been really important for me to find a balance between eating healthy foods and enjoying sweet treats.
Here are all of my eats from yesterday for this WIAW. It’s a great example of how I’ve been eating and how I’ve been balancing life.
Breakfast – 1 Thomas honey wheat English muffin topped with jam, 2 MorningStar Farms veggie sausage patties, and 2 eggs from our CSA
Coffee Break – 1 tall blonde roast from Starbucks with half and half
Lunch – Brown rice topped with cherry tomatoes and a MorningStar Farms Buffalo Chik Patty and a side salad
Snack – 1 Baked and Wired cupcake and 2 mini pastries at a work celebration
Workout – 50 minute spin class at The Pedal Studio
Dinner – Butter lettuce, ground turkey taco mixture (ground turkey, summer squash, tomatoes, and refried beans), salsa, and sour cream
