As I’ve shared here on Coffee Cake and Cardio before, I started using AdvoCare products regularly a little over a year ago and have been an AdvoCare distributor since the summer of 2013. Since then I’ve gotten a lot of questions about my favorite AdvoCare products, when I used them, and how I’ve used AdvoCare to live a healthier life. AdvoCare alone is NOT the answer, but I can say from personal experience and the experience of men and women across the United States, AdvoCare can give you the energy and nutrients you need to have more rewarding workouts and to fuel your body for success.
For someone who has never used AdvoCare what do you recommend?
I recommend starting with either the 10 Day Cleanse or the 24 Day Challenge. The 10 Day Cleanse, which is also the first 10 days of the 24 Day Challenge will help rid you of the toxins and gunk you have in your body. The cleanse is quite gentle in my opinion (aka you won’t live in the bathroom), using probiotics, vitamins, and a fiber drink to slowly rid your body of toxins and waste over the course of the 10 days. At $31.50, I think it’s a great place to start.
The 24 Day Challenge, which I did for the first time last August (I lost 12 inches!), starts with the 10 Day Cleanse and then finishes with a 14 day max phase. The max phase helps to fuel your body to achieve max results. On days 11-24 I took the MNS 3 vitamins and supplements, one meal replacement shake, omegaplex, and spark. You can now build your own 24 Day Challenge pack, which I love, so you can choose all of your favorite flavors! The challenge also comes with a nutrition guide, which will give you some direction on what to eat during the 24 days (lean protein, complex carbs, fruits, veggies, etc).
What products do most runners use?
When I was training for races last fall I used Spark, Rehydrate, and Post-Workout Recovery every run and race. This routine really worked for me and I saw a drastic improvement in my endurance while running and my recovery after long runs and races. I drank Spark before my run, Rehydrate during/after, and had a post-workout recovery shake afterwards.
I don’t have a lot of energy, what do you recommend?
Spark! Spark is not only delicious but it also gives you energy without a crash. Most days I replaced my coffee with Spark because I just felt better drinking Spark. Many moms have called it their “mommy juice”, which cracks me up, but I’m sure I’ll understand in 6 months. My favorite flavors are fruit punch, grape, mango strawberry, and watermelon. I always recommend starting with the pouches and then buying a canister when you find your favorite flavors. You’ll get more for your money that way.
Are you using AdvoCare products during your pregnancy?
I am currently not using any AdvoCare products. Though a number of products are approved, I just decided to hold off until my body was my own again. I have had Spark a couple of times, but I used about half a scoop in 24oz of water, which is quite watered down. Here is the full list of approved products.
If I don’t have a lot of money to spend but would like to try AdvoCare, what do you recommend?
I would recommend Spark and the 10 Day Cleanse. Both are loved by customers and will help you to get back on track and to have more energy.
Do you make money as an AdvoCare distributor?
Using and selling AdvoCare products has really been life changing for me. I’ve shared this before, but the products have given me a renewed energy and I am so grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given through the business. I started out as a wholesale customer, meaning I was a distributor just for the discount (20%-40% off). As I started sharing about AdvoCare, friends and family asked if they could buy from my site vs through others, so I started using my AdvoCare website more regularly and my business started to grow.
