Panera has always been one of my favorite meet up spots for lunch. I love the atmosphere, the lunch options, and the prices! Whether it was grabbing a sandwich with my teammates back in college, enjoying a bowl of soup with my family after church, or grabbing my favorite You Pick Two option after a long morning of moving, Panera has always been a great lunch (and dinner) spot.
I’m sure y’all can relate, but I definitely have my favorites! My go-to favorites include the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich, Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich, Black Bean Soup, and the Baked Potato Soup.
As I almost always get the You Pick Two, this past year I’ve tried to pick one of my favorites and then a new option from the Panera menu. Whether it’s the New Power Bowls or Mac & Cheese, it’s fun to try something new each time.
Yesterday, after a long morning at work, my co-worker and I decided to venture down to Panera for a quick lunch break. As you can order lunch to go, we decided to order lunch and to bring it back to the office to eat.
My co-worker ordered one of her favorites: Creamy Tomato Soup with potato chips. She also ordered the Chocolate Duet with Walnuts, which she loved!
I ordered a bowl of the Baked Potato Soup (which I’m obsessed with) and half of the Tomato & Mozzarella Panini. I just love how creamy the Baked Potato soup is! You can taste the bacon… it’s a perfect late winter soup if you ask me! The Tomato & Mozzarella Panini on the other hand is light, yet filling, and has the perfect amount of acid from the tomatoes. It’s just a wonderful sandwich.
It’s amazing how something so simple can make your day, but it was so nice being able to run to Panera, grab lunch to go, and then enjoy it at our desk before the afternoon kicked off. Y’all know I’m guilty of staying at my desk all day, so I think yesterday’s outing confirmed that I need to take advantage of my lunch break more often.
Well now is the time to vote for your favorites! Vote for one of these top 5 favorites to become the ultimate favorite: The Fuji Apple Chicken Salad, Mac & Cheese, Broccoli Cheddar Soup, Cinnamon Crunch Bagel, or Bacon Turkey Bravo. You can also write in your own personal favorite if it’s not in the top 5. MyPanera members have the chance to win their favorite free for a year!
