For me, music and working out go hand in hand. Music helps to get me in the zone, to stay in the zone, and it definitely helps the time to fly by. I’d like to say that I’m in a place where I can workout for hours, but let me tell you, I watch every minute pass when I’m on the elliptical machine or treadmill.
Whether it be a run outside or a workout in the gym, I love creating playlists to coincide with my workouts. Picking songs based on their rhythm and length help me to get through a tough workout and helps me to burn more calories because I’m more invested in the workout.
My favorite type of Jammin Workout is one in which you pick out a number of songs that add up to the length you want your workout to be. Next you assign exercises to those songs and you’re ready to go!
