While in San Antonio two weekends ago, I was able to spend a lot of time with Stephanie, my sister Alison, and my Mom… aka, there was a lot of wedding talk! We kicked off wedding discussion at Eduardo’s hair salon, which is always a blast. Why are hairstylist like therapists?
The best news of the day was that Eduardo is going to be flying to DC for my wedding to do my wedding party’s and my hair. I couldn’t be happier! I adore him and wouldn’t want anyone else in charge of my hair on “the big day”.
Here’s what I’m thinking hair wise….

It’s wild to think that my wedding is just over 4 months away, but it’s really starting to hit me since my first dress fitting is in 6 weeks. July 7 is going to be here before I know it!
Our next stop was to find bridesmaid dresses for Stephanie and Alison.
Now that Stephanie and Alison have theirs and Melissa and Becky purchased theirs a few weeks ago, all of my bridesmaids have their dresses… woo hoo! The bridesmaid’s dresses are so elegant. I just can not wait to see them in cobalt blue. My sister’s dress is a little different, since she’s the maid of honor, but the color will remain the same. My mom is still looking for her dress, but she’ll look amazing in anything!
A natural beauty if you as me.
We had fun trying on various bridal jewelery, which btw I still need to find. I really don’t have a clue what to wear on my wedding day but I’m sure I’ll find something.
I’d like to add a few pops of color to my attire, so I’ve been eyeballing these earrings…
I’d really like to wear some of my grandmother’s jewelery, so we’ll see if that works out. She had some amazing costume jewelry!
All in all, the wedding planning is going extremely well. All of our vendors are booked, which means it’s time for all the small stuff… the fun stuff!!
Have a very happy Wednesday!
