Pro Football Hall of Fame

Yesterday was a sad, sad day. I ordered a venti coffee and was given a traditional Starbucks cup.  Had I known Sunday would have been my last day with a Starbucks holiday cup, I would have treasured it that much more.

With my “plain” coffee cup in hand, Neal and I headed to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Neal was so thankful that I “allowed” him to go to the hall of fame, but the truth is, I really wanted to go.  It was super funny.  He kept thanking me, but I seriously didn’t mind one bit!  Football makes Neal and I both very happy, so to be able to go to the hall of fame on our way back to DC was awesome!

Check out that football and that helmet!!  Isn’t it crazy to see what they played with/in back in the 1920’s?

The hall of fame was really awesome too.  It was excited to see how many of the guys I actually knew.

The highlight of our tour was seeing a jersey worn by Duke Slater, Neal’s favorite player from the University of Iowa and the subject of his third book!!  It was just awesome!

If you’re ever up in Ohio and have time to drive to Canton, I highly recommend the hall of fame.  You’ll really learn a lot about pro football and its history.

After a quick lunch at Panera, Neal and I hit the road again and started to head back to Washington, DC.  Neal was awesome and drove for 4 hours, giving me time to nap and read blogs on my iPad.  It was just nice being able to relax.  Before I knew it, we were at the Hagerstown Outlet Mall!

I got some awesome stuff (from Neal) and am really excited to wear some of my new gear.

I got a new Under Armour pullover, 2 Eddie Bauer tank tops, and this AWESOME undergarments travel bag.  It has two pockets, one for clean garments and one for dirty garments. It is just the cutest thing!!

We didn’t get back home until 9PM, so I missed spin last night, but I’m planning to make it up tonight at HardCORE Cycling!!   I am incredibly excited to still be off from work and to have the next 4 days to get a bunch of stuff done!  My top priority is my Masters Capstone, but I have a bunch of little things to do which will break up the capstone work load.

I have some fun things to share with y’all over the next few days, so stay tuned!!
