Today is Neal’s birthday!! We started the celebrations a little early, as I surprised him with Washington Capitals hockey tickets for last night’s game.
Before the game we headed over to Potbellys for some dinner. I ordered the Smoked Ham sandwich on wheat with mustard, hot peppers and all the veggies. At 15PP, I’m not sure if it was worth it but man was it tasty! The good thing was, prior to dinner I had 16PP left for the day, YAY! Planning really does work.
After dinner we headed over to the Verizon Center for the game. Neal has been to NHL games before, but this was his first time seeing the Caps play. The game was a lot of fun and surprisingly very festive with lots of Christmas music, holiday lights, and holiday well wishes.
The Caps beat the Toronto Maple Leafs (not Leaves) 4-2 and we even got to see a hat trick! It was a really great game.
After the game we headed over to FroZenYo for a little frozen yogurt. I got 98% fat free caramel with a few chocolate chips and Neal opted for a trio of flavors with no toppings (pumpkin pie, red velvet, and banana cream). My cup of frozen yogurt was 5PP and I used some of my weekly points allowance to have it.
Today Neal and I are going to do, well… whatever Neal wants to do! I finished my final paper of the semester this morning, so I’m more or less free to do whatever! Neal and I have been wanting to see the Muppets for a while now, so I’m thinking we’ll go to dinner and then see a movie.

Lunch – ham sandwich with broccoli and hummus (7PP)
Dinner – Dinner with Neal, but we haven’t decided where we’re eating yet. (23PP remaining for the day)
