This past weekend I went to NYC with my sister and Neal for a day on Saturday. We left DC at 6:30AM, arriving in NYC at 10:30AM. With a little under 12 hours to spend in NYC, we headed strait for Central Park! I love Central Park and all there is to see and do there. We walked a couple of miles and then found some spots to take a few engagement photos. We hadn’t planned on taking any, but taking pictures in the park is hard to pass up!
After a few hours in the park, we headed down to Ground Zero and then back up to 59th to put our names in at Serendipity. As the wait was 3 hours, which isn’t uncommon, we headed over to Patsy’s for dinner and then went back to Serendipity a few hours later for dessert.
It was an extremely chill day in NYC and a lot of fun! If you haven’t been to NYC, you should plan a trip there some time. I don’t think I’d ever live there, but it’s a wonderful city to visit.
This morning Neal and I went for a 3.12 mile run, burning 497 calories. It was a great way to start the day and I’m SO glad it’s cool outside again. I do like warm weather, but not at the end of November. I love the crisp air and the cool breeze, it just makes me happy at this time of year!
After work today, I’m heading over to LA Boxing to take one last class before my Groupon expires. I’m highly considering joining LA Boxing, so we’ll see what deals they’re running in December. After my boxing class, Neal and I are heading over to the National Harbor to pick up our race bibs at the DC Hot Chocolate Race Expo. It’s hard to believe our 15K is just 3 days away, but we’re excited!

Breakfast – 2 eggs (4PP), 2 slices of toast (2PP), 1 TBSP Fig butter (1PP), blackberries (0PP), coffee with ff half and half (1PP)= 8PP
Lunch – Leftover chili (5PP), cornbread (6PP), plum (0PP) = 11PP
Snacks – banana (0PP), plum (0PP), 1 cup of fruit loops (3PP) = 3PP
Dinner – mystery meal, I’m thinking pasta, veggies, and chicken. I’ll have a good amount of points remaining as I will have 2 workouts under my belt and 15PP remaining from my daily points plus allowance.

Week 5 Results: 227.2 (+/- 0 pounds — How I stayed the same weight over Thanksgiving break, I have NO idea! Lots of exercise I guess)
