I fought the urge to snooze this morning and hopped out of bed at 5:30AM. I headed strait for the kitchen and had a bowl of honey bunches of oats instead of my planned bowl of oatmeal. By 6AM I was out the door and off to ride the metro to the gym. Throughout my metro ride I thought of all the ways I could get out of spin today.
1. I could work out after work… but then I wouldn’t be able to start my laundry before the Biggest Loser
2. I could workout on the elliptical instead of taking spin…. but I’d have to workout longer in order to burn as many calories
3. I could talk from the metro to work (1 mile) and then just change at work … now that’s just a bad plan.
So instead I fought the urge to skip spin and headed right into the studio. Though I picked a bike in the back of the room, verses my usual front row spot, I still took the class. The instructor had us focus on sprints today and I got a really good workout. My legs are hating me right now, since I took Balls and Bars last night. I burned 636 calories in 50 minutes… not too shabby!! Woop Woop!
Once at work, I buckled down…. ok, I buckled down after reading a few blogs like Beth’s Journey but it was a great start to the day. I also heard some great news from my BF. I am just so proud of him and all of his accomplishments.
For lunch I had a cup of Chipotle Sloppy Joes over a bed of lettuce, 2 fat free muffin tin brownies and 1 nalgene water bottle. I’m feeling great on the Simply Filling plan and am hoping for a great weight loss on Thursday!!
Tonight it’s laundry time, list making for this weekend’s road trip and the Biggest Loser finale… can’t wait!!
