Since graduating from college back in 2006, I haven’t always been able to afford a gym membership. Now, more than ever, technology has made it easier to workout at home and to keep you motivated. Technology as a fitness tool.
As I shared a while back, the iPod and iPad have forever changed my workouts with the playlists I’m able to create. Aside from iTunes, the apps that exist for both apple products and androids are amazing. There are also a plethora of website which can help you on your journey, including fantastic healthy living blogs. Here are some of my favorites.

Groupon and Living Social have also helped me health wise. Back in December I bought a 6 class pass to Cycle Studio, which I LOVE!! I got a 13 class pass from Neal for Christmas and have bought an additional Groupon for 6 more classes. As I go to 3 classes a week, that Groupon is only going to last me 2 weeks… looks like I’ll be buying a pass until June.
Point being, technology can be your best fitness friend! My Dad always says “there’s no such thing as a free lunch”, so no, technology isn’t free, but there sure is a lot you can do with technology and I believe it’ll help you to save some pennies.
