Last night I made by way to Weight Watchers after work, feeling good about the week I had just finished. I worked really hard last Wednesday-Friday, counting my points daily. I also followed my workout plan, running Wednesday morning, going to kickboxing Thursday night, and running again Friday morning.
Although Neal and I went to Cleveland over the weekend and I didn’t count my points, I knew that I had made wise choices and had burned a lot of calories during our 10 mile run. Despite the weekend away, Monday and Tuesday I counted all of my points, but didn’t workout.
In the end, I lost .2 pounds (point 2). A loss is a loss they way, but I was really hoping to have lost more. The reality is, I haven’t been super strict about measuring and counting every bite, taste, and lick… which all adds up. I have also been working out a lot, which for me adds muscle to my body weight.
I don’t want to make excuses, but I know that I can work harder to lose body fat. One week at a time though… that’s all I can and need to do.
Wednesday Food Log
Breakfast – 1.5 cups of multigrain cheerios (4PP), 1 cup vanilla soy milk (4PP) = 8PP
Lunch- Progresso roasted chicken primavera soup (5PP), apple (0PP), peanut butter (7PP) = 12PP
Snack- orange (0PP), granola bar (3PP) = 3PP
Dinner– Liz is coming over for dinner, so I haven’t decided what to cook just yet. I have 14PP left for the day, so that gives me a lot to work with.

The past couple of days I’ve been feeling a little “off” so I’m really hoping for a turn around. I’m starting to get excited about the Thanksgiving holiday and having my sister in town. Life’s just a little busy right now, so I’m hoping for a slow down.
