We see green smoothies all the time, but boy can they be hit or miss. Some are a little too green for me and others are actually really unhealthy. As I’ve shared before, it’s incredibly easy to make an unhealthy smoothie. I’ve made a gazillion green smoothies and this one continues to be my favorite green smoothie.
- 2 clementines
- 1/2 a large banana
- 6 strawberries
- 2 cups of spinach (or 1 cup of spinach and 1 cup of kale)
- 1/2 cup of plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
You’ll want to use a strong blender since you’ll be blending whole fruit and ice. I use a Vitamix, but any other strong blender will work great.
This smoothie is a perfect balance of sweet and green (if you know what I mean). You can definitely taste the spinach, but it’s not too much! The clementines and strawberries really add a great sweetness to this green smoothie!
