January was a really great month and I’m thankful for how 2016 has started off. Things were pretty busy after the holidays and it took a week or so to get back into our groove. Mid month my mom came into town for a long weekend and then the snow storm hit. Before I knew it, it was February.
I used the month of January to get back into the swing of things and to establish some new habits (like reading more). I’m ending the month feeling great and am really looking forward to the OrangeTheory Fitness Weight Loss Challenge that starts today. The challenge requires you to attend OTF three times a week, so I’m excited for the challenge. I’d love to build more muscle over the next 6 weeks.
Here’s to a great February! – OH! And guess who hasn’t been to Starbucks in a month? This girl! Although I gave up coffee in July, I was still going in for Chai Lattes and Vanilla Steamers. I am trying to reduce my sugar intake, so Starbucks had to go. It’s also helping my pocket book, which is an added bonus.

Clean our old house and hand over the keys – I can’t take too much credit for this. Neal was such a huge help.
Go through Magnolia’s and my clothes bins (organize and donate) – Well, I opened the bins. Does that count.
Move storage bins into attic space and organize our storage room – Yes.
Finish setting up my office – No.
Create a monthly cleaning chart and put it into action – Yes!! I am really loving this plan.
Create a list of DIY projects we want to tackle – No.
Contact our contractor to begin discussing renovation projects – No.
Attend OrangeTheory twice a week – Yes. I’m obsessed with OTF.
Reduce sweets/sugar intake post holidays – YES!!
Increase fruit and veggie intake each day (smoothies, salads, etc.) – Yes.
Go for a long family walk each weekend – We went on a lot walks, but I don’t remember when.
Visit a few churches as we look for one to call home – No, sadly.
Plan a date night with Neal – Yes.
Plan spring vacations/breaks – We’re starting to talk about it.
Give myself a pedicure – Yes.
Set up time to hang out with girl friends – Yes.
