Today was one of those days where you just have to roll with it! I was absolutely exhausted when I woke up this morning. I stuck to my plan to workout, but when I hopped on my Peloton I made the mistake of allowing it to update. After 5 minutes, I knew I just needed to start pedaling as the update was taking too long. I road for 20 minutes while listening to music on my phone, which was really good. It felt good to get my legs moving even if I couldn’t get a studio workout in.
The rest of the day was a whirlwind. I was scheduled to leave for Boston today at 5:30PM, but due to weather delays, our flight kept getting pushed back. As I write this, I’m still waiting at the airport to leave for Boston (8:30PM). The day of delays made eating tricky, as I thought I would be in Boston for dinner.
In the end though, I did the best I could and am proud of my decisions (like not eating pita bread with dinner, WIN!). I’ll be in Boston for 36 hours and plan to make the best decisions I can.
Workout – 20 minutes on Peloton bike
Breakfast – 2 egg muffins and cottage cheese
Lunch – 1 tortilla filled with caramelized onion hummus and sliced chicken breast, blueberries, Brazil nuts, Chobani Yogurt, and a banana
Snack 1 – Black Dunkin coffee and grapes from home
Snack 2 – Honey green tea and a carrots and celery hummus cup at the airport
Dinner – Chicken salad from Lebanese Taverna at the airport (I removed the garlic paste after the photo)
