Monday, Monday! After two tough workouts this weekend, I decided to take today off from OrangeTheory. I needed the break and I’m glad I took it! Today I planned ahead, packed my breakfast, lunch, and snacks and then made a delicious dinner for my family at home.
The toughest moments today were when I wanted to turn to food when I was stressed (I didn’t, yay) and the moments when I was craving sugar. Before dinner I had a rice cake with almond butter, which definitely took the edge off, but I was proud of myself for not giving into those moments.
Breakfast – 2 hard boiled eggs and an avocado cup
Lunch – Brown nice, veggies, and a chicken burger
Snack – Greek yogurt and blueberries
Snack – Rice cake with almond butter
Dinner – Salmon and roasted green beans
