My diet (the food I’m consuming) has been all over the place. I do log my calories every day though on My Fitness Pal and have done a pretty good job of staying close to my calorie goal (1200 calories). Last weekend I ate quit a bit though…
Saturday morning I went to breakfast with Laurie and had a Greek omelet, home fries, and English muffin. Saturday afternoon I had a bowl of cereal and then Saturday night we went to The Melting Pot. At The Melting Pot we had cheese fondue with bread and veggies, a variety of proteins, and a plethora of desserts and chocolate fondue. On top of that I had two classes of wine.
Sunday morning I had a morning glory muffin from Buzz Bakery and then 3 small tortillas with cheese and salsa for lunch (lots of carbs). For Easter dinner I ate ham, 1 deviled egg, cheese and potato casserole, and two different salads. On top of that I also had a glass of wine and a beer.
All in all, I haven’t been making the wisest of choices. Yesterday I tried to turn things around…
Breakfast– Everything bagel with light veggie cream cheese and an iced coffee (345 calories)
Lunch– Romaine lettuce, walnuts, blue cheese, granny smith apple, and raspberry walnut vinaigrette (269 calories)
Snack– Bowl of cereal with skim milk (472 calories)
Dinner– Romaine lettuce, granny smith apple, blue cheese, and a homemade apple butter vinaigrette (358 calories)
Dessert– Yoplait chocolate banana smoothie (267 calories)
Total Calories– 1711 calories (511 calories over my goal)
Calories Burned– 1164 calories (45 minutes of spin, 15 minutes of abs, 30 minutes of Body Revolution)
Counting calories has been good for me but I’m wondering if I should strive to eat according to the Body Revolution plan. Essentially I think I need to limit my carbs and processed foods.

Not So Exciting News
I’m off to the doctors this morning for my asthma. My allergies and asthma haven’t been this bad in years so I’m hoping the doctors may have some advice for me. I usually try to control it on my own but when my inhalers aren’t controlling things, I know it’s time to go to the doctors. Hopefully I can get things back under control and get things back to normal asap.
I hope y’all have a wonderful Tuesday!
