I’m not going to lie, I absolutely love it when birthdays last a few days! My 30th birthday was amazing and I’m so grateful for all celebrations these past few days. It all started last Thursday with a trip to Mad Fox Brewery for lunch with Neal, Magnolia, and Neal’s parents. What better place for my first postpartum beer?
We started off lunch with their pumpkin hummus, which was amazing! I absolutely loved it!
For lunch we ordered 4 personal pizzas and enjoyed a piece of each. It was a great way to try out 4 different pizzas. “The Mob” was my absolute favorite!
After lunch we headed over to Tyson’s for a little shopping! I picked up a pair of jeans at Old Navy and bought myself a birthday present at Vera Bradley! Did y’all know they’re selling leather now? LOVE!
After shopping we headed home and relaxed for the rest of the evening. The highlight of my 30th birthday though happened just before I went to bed. Neal surprised me with a pair of sapphire earrings, Magnolia’s birthstone! It was the sweetest gift and absolutely made my day.
On Friday, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and took Magnolia to a pumpkin patch. I had hoped to go on my birthday but the weather was a little yucky.
We drove up to Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch in Frederick, Maryland, put Magnolia into the Boba wrap, and walked around the farm.
We ventured into the corn maze and then quickly turned around when it got too muddy.
We then headed over to the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin. Lets just say Magnolia’s not a huge fan of pumpkins. Or at least riding them.
We had a wonderful time at the pumpkin patch and hope to make it a yearly affair!
Saturday my mother-in-law treated me to a pedicure, which was so awesome. I again put Magnolia in the Boba wrap and enjoyed a luxurious pedicure!
Sunday was the capstone to my amazing birthday. I started the day with a spin class and then went on a coffee and movie date with my dear friend Becky that afternoon. I love, love, love Magnolia, but it was really nice being able to enjoy some baby-free time on Sunday. Gone Girl… holy moly! So good!
I really had an amazing 30th birthday and am so grateful for all of the love and surprises! Thank y’all for all of the birthday wishes! It’s going to be an amazing year!
